Tony, Jorge, Manolo, Robin_smallRobin Reck has acted in numerous film, television, and theater productions and worked in virtually all aspects of the film industry in both creative and business capacities. She recently portrayed Madam Rospettle in Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma’s Hung You in the Closet and I’m so Sad at the American Century Theater.  She co-starried in AMC’s Turn and appeared in Other Madnesses (Sundance film lab finalist) Homemaker 3000 (2nd place Slamdance screenplay contest), Columbia Picture’s, Girl Interrupted, and over 30 films, including 10 leads.  Robin auditions regularly in New York to pursue  television roles.

In addition to acting, Robin wrote, produced and directed The Cryers, a short film featured in Videography magazine and included the book, No-Budget Digital Filmmaking by Chuck Gloman. She also produced Our Voices, a video for the Pennsylvania Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Network (PAIRWN) exhibit at the State Museum of Pennsylvania. Since 9/11, Robin has worked for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where she directed numerous webcasts for the TSA Administrator and senior leadership team for over 60,000 employees, as well as directed over 75 national training and informational videos.


Robin’s focus is acting, but sometimes she directs narrative indie projects. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA, WIFV, and the Actors Center.  She is a graduate of the Theatre Lab Honors Conservatory Program and has a a BS in Broadcasting and Film and a BSBA in marketing from Boston University (BU).

Fun Facts:  

Acting paid her way through film school, as she was a member of  Haley Productions, an improvisational dinner theater troupe.  After graduation from BU, she moved to New York and:

  • studied acting with Michael Howard Studios and performed off-Broadway
  • freelanced for Miramax Films as a script reader and worked in the publicity, international and legal departments
  • served as the Miramax liaison for Julia Ormond (Sabrina, Legends of the Fall)
